How can I make my homepage a static page in Intrepidity theme rather than a blog?
Any help appreciated?

I am having the same problem. I created a Welcome page and a blog page and can have my landing page be my Welcome page, but I can't then get rid of the Home page so I have 2 duplicate pages (Home and Welcome).
Help?

All you have to do:
1) In your dashboard, go to "My Theme",
2) Select "2.Settings",
3) Look for "Top Navigation", see 'Hide "Home" from the top navigation?"
4) Select "Yes".That will get rid of your duplicate.
