Hi all:
I have created a 16X16 favicon.ico file and placed it in my root directory. I have also cleared my cache and bookmarked the site with IE and Firefox.
I still don't see the favicon in my browser or the page tab.
I saw where I could put the the code <link rel=”shortcut icon” href=”http://www.thenameofyoursitehere.com/favicon.ico” mce_href=”http://www.thenameofyoursitehere.com/favicon.ico”/>
but I don't know where to put this code.
Can anyone help please? Thanks much!
Someone told me to put the above referenced code into the header.php editor page. I put it as you can see below but the favicon is still not showing. Does anyone have any suggestions? Did I put it in the right place for this theme? Thanks so much.
